10 Questions To Make You Think – April

It’s always good to reflect upon ourselves and our lives so every month I post 10 questions to help you do this. It all started in November last year. Here are the April questions:

    1. Did you have fun today? Because?
Your answer to this question should be yes. We should have fun every day. If you haven’t had fun today then go do something fun right now.

    2. If you could wish for one thing to happen today; what would it be?
Today is just one day but your wish represents something you want and it’s always important to pay attention to what you want, even the small things.
    3. What’s a political issue that interests you?
This might be something that really matters to you and working on it will make you feel useful.
    4. What is your secret passion?
Your secret passion is something that is very close to your heart. It’s not related to anyone else but you.

    5. What do you think is your biggest shortcoming?
Find ways to make it less of a problem or even use it for your benefit.
    6. What do you want to say when someone asks “What do you do”?
This is probably what you want to do the most, what would make you proud and feeling good about yourself.
    7. How would your parents describe you? (You can call them and ask.)
Sometimes the way your parents see you is very different from the way you see yourself. I think that can bring some really useful insights.
    8. Where do you feel most at home?
It’s good to have a place to call home. It comforts us and makes us feel like we belong.

    9. Write down a problem you solved today.
Sometimes we only look at the negative things and forget to pay attention to the useful and good things we’ve done. There’s no great relief than solving a problem. If not today, then think about the last one recently.
    10. What “type” of person are you?
This question is open to interpretation. Knowing what type of person you are will help you make decisions and be more aware of what makes you happy.

  2. My answers (already in June, heheh… June 9):

    1) Yes, I had fun today reading my friends’ blogs while listening to good music. I’ll soon start watching some good movies too, on my own, and eat chocolate.

    2) That for some reason, I didn’t have to work tomorrow. 😛

    3) Animal rights, sustainable development, human rights, women’s rights, worker’s rights, consumerism, corporate accountability etc.

    4) To do something meaningful with the issues above.

    5) Not being persistent, not finishing what I’ve begun, not planning my life more strategically.

    6) Many things.

    7) Clumsy, relaxed, easy-going, annoying, absent-minded.

    8) That’s the problem. Nowhere, at the moment.

    9) I cooked food for the whole week. Seriously, it is a problem if you work all day long and feel super tired when you get home. I feel like I was super efficient, because I used so little time compared to the benefit it’ll bring me during the week.

    10) Unstable, gets bored easily. Doesn’t like routine.

  3. It doesn’t matter which month you answer them really =)
I’m concerned with some of the same political issues you are, especially animal rights, sustainability and women’s rights.
It’s interesting that your parents see you as relaxed, I always thought the opposite about you, you’re always on-the-go, doing something, being energetic, Although the other qualities sound very ‘Camila’, clumsy, absent-minded lol. I think I have these two characteristics too. My parents would definitely see me as messy. I think that would be the number one thing.
Number 10, you can sign my name there.
